			ACTION: Presented by Interim City Manager, J. B. Oliver, Jr., who provided introductory comments. The actual presentation was made by John Eagle, Assistant City Manager.

Regional Issues

Councilwoman Leary shared information from a meeting she attended concerning the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic Command Overview and provided a report for the record and to be shared with the members of Council.

			ACTION: Approved MOVER: Councilmember Joseph H. Spencer, II. SECONDER: Councilmember Ross A. Kearney, II.

		09-0387	to receive a legal briefing regarding pending litigation and consult with legal counsel regarding specific legal matters requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel;

		09-0388	to discuss or consider the acquisition and/or disposition of publicly held real property in all master plan areas of the City where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the negotiating strategy of the City;

		09-0390	to have a discussion concerning a prospective business or industry or the expansion of an existing business or industry where no previous announcement has been made of the business’ or industry’s interest in locating or expanding its facilities in Hampton.
