Call to Order
  Vice Mayor Wallace called the meeting to order at 1:01 p.m. Mayor Ward and Councilwoman Snead were not present. Councilwoman Snead arrived at 1:06 p.m.

New Business
  Councilman Tuck asked the City Attorney if she had received the Attorney General's opinion and she has not but has enlisted assistance in attempting to expedite that.

Councilman Tuck asked for the procedure or policy to rename streets. The City Manager gave a high level overview but stated that she would provide more detailed information to him.

Councilman Stuart inquired about the possibility of renaming streets as Lincoln Park is redeveloped.
Closed Meeting
13-0099Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711A.7 to consult with legal counsel regarding specific legal matters requiring the advice of counsel, pertaining to (1) the former site of the Virginia School for the Deaf, Blind and Multidisabled, and (2) the legal framework for budget preparation and approval.
