Call to Order
  Mayor Wallace called the meeting to order at 11:04 a.m. All members of Council were present at roll call with the exception of Councilman Tuck who arrived shortly thereafter.

Council was joined by members of the Coliseum Advisory Committee: Bob Boester, Chair; Lynn Hutton, Nellie Jo Yannarella, Calvin Pearson, George Spellinger, Hal Prentiss, and Matthew Ballard.

The following staff members were present: Mary Bunting, Vanessa Valldejuli, Katherine Glass, Jennifer Green, Terry P. O'Neill, Don Whipple, Lesa Yeatts, Joe Tsao, Leonard Sledge, Pete Peterson, Jonathan McBride, Robin McCormick, Jim Wilson, Keith Cannady, Matt Smith, Steve Bond, Mary Fugere, Brian Deprofio, David Layman, Tony Reyes, and Terry Sult.

Also present was reporter Robert Brauchle of the Daily Press.

Closed Meeting
14-0430Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711.A.3 to consider the disposition of publicly held real property in the Coliseum Central area where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the city’s bargaining position or negotiating strategy.
ACTION: Approved - closed session began at 12:12 p.m.
