Call to Order
  Mayor Wallace called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m. Councilmen Stuart and Tuck had previously advised that they would not be able to attend the afternoon session. Councilwoman Snead was not present at roll call but arrived at 1:16 p.m.

1.14-0268Introduction of the Newest Member of the Hampton Police Division, K-9 Ranger, the New Bloodhound.
ACTION: Presented K-9 Ranger, a bloodhound who is the newest member of the Hampton Police Division.

ACTION: Presented by Hui-Shan Walker, Director of Emergency Management.
3.14-0272Economic Development - Why We Invest
ACTION: Presented by James A. "Pete" Peterson, Assistant City Manager, and Leonard Sledge, Director of Economic Development.
Regional Issues
  The City Manager shared that staff has been tracking the state budget situation carefully and just heard that the House and Senate have apparently reached a budget resolution. She will report back as soon as possible with the impact upon Hampton's budget.

Councilman Moffett inquired if the Daily Press will be sending Robert Brauchle to the All America City competition in Denver this upcoming weekend. Mr. Brauchle shook his head no from the audience.
