Public Comment
  Eddie Deerfield spoke on the budget and the possible closing of Cary Elementary School.

Gaylene Kanoyton, William A. Smith and Paige V. Washington, Jr. spoke in favor of at-large election of the School Board Chairman. Mr. Washington also spoke about full funding of the school budget request.

David Payton, Carolyn Davis, Robert Davis, and Matt Asay spoke on problems with the Ashwood Assisted Living facility on Hunt Club Boulevard.

Arne Hasselquist, Dan Soper, Ralph Capotosto, Carole Garrison and Bill Sellers spoke on various elements of the Waterways Steering Committee recomendations.

Rudy Langford congratulated Joe Spencer and expressed support for the at large election of the School Board Chair.

Hugh Bassette asked that Council reconsider Frank Ottofaro's request regarding the price he received for his property.

John Krulis thanked Councilman Spencer and spoke in opposition to acquisition of Harbor Square.

Edwin M. Boone was critical of the City's financial practices.

Frank J. Ottofaro spoke on the taking of property on Pine Chapel Road.

David Braunbeck expressed that he misses Angela Leary.
