New Business
The Mayor brought up the XL Development Group's pending rezoning application and the City Manager recapped the events of the past several months for Council. The second reading of XL Development Group's Rezoning Application No. 1260 is on the evening Council agenda.

The Mayor spoke about the issue that Ed Miller brought up concerning the lack of a left turn from Pine Chapel Road. Fred Whitley, the City Engineer, outlined options that might be considered to address this and the cost of such options.

Councilman Sapp spoke on the issue of predatory lending. Hampton's legislative package supports the prospect of eliminating or constraining predatory lending. Councilman Sapp proposes a resolution reflecting that which is already in the City's legislative package to be voted upon at the next meeting. Putting such a resolution in place will help our state legislators.
