Call to Order
  Mayor Wallace called the meeting to order at 1:02 p.m. All members of Council were present.

He welcomed new Councilmember Linda Curtis.

ACTION: Presented by Steve Shapiro, Deputy Director of Community Development.
3.13-0416Housing/Neighborhood Revitalization Tools – This is intended to be a follow-up briefing and discussion based upon the housing work session held on September 25, 2013.
ACTION: Presented by Ron Jackson, Executive Director of the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority.

  Councilman Moffett made a statement concerning Hampton's relationship with local Veterans.

13-0417Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A.1 and .7 to consider various Council appointments held by former Mayor Ward, Mayor Wallace, and Councilwoman Linda Curtis and appointments to the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission, to discuss probable litigation and to consult with legal counsel regarding specific legal matters pertaining to voting rights law and requiring the advice of counsel.
