  Alan Bourne praised the government of Hampton.

Dr. Kevin S. Steele expressed appreciation for city staff's response to the recent tornado.

Helen Bynum spoke in opposition to the WaWa rezoning application on the 7 p.m. agenda.

Chuck Nichols spoke on the Line of Duty issue.

Frank Ottofaro, Jr. spoke about the issue of his father's property on Pine Chapel Road.

Bruce Bellinger and Desmond Green of Orange Cab and Carolyn Jackson of Yellow Cab spoke in favor of the taxi cab rate increase. Brandy Arone also spoke in favor.

Rudy Langford and Edwin M. Boone spoke in opposition to the taxi rate increase.

Hassan E. Ali spoke on the taxi rate issue.

Judy Swystun and Frank Azzalina of Yellow Cab provided information on the taxi rate increase.

Tawalu Che and Moltiyidine Cheikh of American Taxi spoke in favor of the taxi fare increase.

David Dietrich congratulated the recently elected candidates and asked Council for action on the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012.

Frank Dalton asked Council to act to allow the Newtown Golf Club to use Hampton's golf courses.
