Call to Order
  Mayor Wallace called the meeting to order at 1:01 p.m. All members of City Council were present with the exception of Vice Mayor Curtis who was on vacation.

ACTION: Presented by John Martin of the Southeastern Institute of Research, Inc.

ACTION: Presented by Brian DeProfio, Director of Budget & Strategic Initiatives. There was a brief unofficial recess before Mr. DeProfio began his presentation.

15-0262Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711.A.1, .3 and .7 to discuss appointments as listed on the agenda and City Council appointees; to discuss or consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose and/or the disposition of publicly held real property in the areas of Coliseum Central, Downtown Hampton, Wythe, Kecoughtan Corridor and Pembroke Avenue where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position of negotiating strategy of the city council, and to consult with legal counsel on a specific legal matter involving zoning which requires the advice of legal counsel.
ACTION: Approved - closed session began at 3:14 p.m.
