Call to Order / Roll Call
  Mayor Wallace called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. All members of City Council were present.
Public Comment
  Betty Nealy Lewis and James Lewis spoke on the need to reinstate a leash law.

Steve Brown and Shant'a Miller-Synaker spoke on the Stomp Against Bullying and Violence Event to take place at Hampton High School on January 18, 2014, from 4 until 7 p.m.

Lorie P. Henderson requested a crosswalk and stop sign at Middle Road and Commander Sheppard Boulevard.

Hugh Bassette spoke in opposition to the item on the evening agenda concerning the Economic Development Authority.

Frank Ottofaro spoke on the Ottofaro case.

L. Elizabeth McCoury of the Coliseum Central Business Improvement District invited Council to attend their annual meeting to be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 8 a.m. at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.

Edwin Boone spoke about the Council's practices during the public comment period and had questions concerning the cigarette sting.
