Call to Order
Mayor Ward called the meeting to order at 1:04 p.m. All members of Council were present with the exception of Vice Mayor Wallace who arrived at 1:07 p.m.

Presented by Karl Daughtrey, Finance Director, who introduced his staff. A presentation was made by Robert G. Bielat, CPA, of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP.
Briefing on the Option to Expand Medicaid Eligibility in Virginia
Presented by Chuck Hall, Executive Director. He was accompanied by Steve Brown, Tony Soltys, and Chuck Young.
Status of Hampton’s Real Estate Tax Relief and Disabled Veterans Tax Exemption Programs

Councilman Tuck inquired about any change which has been made in the protocol involving the three minute speaking time limit during the public comment period. The Mayor indicated there had been no change other than a new bailiff.
