Discussion of Intergovernmental Agreement with Hampton Roads Military and Federal Facilities Alliance.
Council discussed this matter at the request of the City Manager and provided guidance to the City Manager.
Discussion of Hampton Roads Convention Center Management Contract.
Council discussed this matter at the request of Councilman Kearney. The City Attorney provided information on legal issues with respect to the contractual agreement between the City of Hampton and SMG.
Discussion of Proposed Street Paving Schedule and Criteria.
Council discussed this matter at the request of Councilman Kearney. John Veneziano, Public Works Director, provided information on the criteria used in formulating the repaving schedule.
Discussion of Proposed Stormwater Projects Schedule and Criteria.
Council discussed this at the request of Councilman Kearney. He requested that this information be posted to the City's website.
Request for Staff Research on Voting System.
Council discussed this matter at the request of Councilman Kearney. Mayor Ward shared that there was a referendum in 1996 on this item and she felt it would be beneficial for the staff to update Council on the present state of the law.
