Briefing on Ordinance to Amend the Code of the City of Hampton, Chapter 37, Article II, Division 6, entitled, "EXEMPTION OR DEFERRAL FOR ELDERLY AND DISABLED PERSONS" by Amending and Re-enacting Section 37-123. Amount of Exemption.
Presented by Ross Mugler, Commissioner of the Revenue and Mary Bunting, Assistant City Manager.
Discussion of Council's guidance concerning the financial guideline pertaining to budgetary development
Council had a discussion, led by Councilman Sapp, of the financial guidelines pertaining to budgetary development.
Presentation on options for addressing Newmarket Creek flooding concerns
Presented by Ted Henifin, Director of Public Works.
Councilwoman Leary gave an update from the Jamestown 2007 Committee. She mentioned an event which will take place on January 27, 2007, "Hunt for Hampton's History." Councilwoman Leary asked that a report be made in October.
Councilwoman Leary also asked for a demonstration on the new software, Pictometry.
