Call to Order
Mayor Ward welcomed everyone to the Council meeting and asked Vice Mayor Wallace to share some details on a new prescription drug discount program offered to Hampton residents since Hampton is a member of the National League of Cities. For more information, residents may call 1-888-620-1749.
Mayor Ward also indicated the agenda would be taken out of order since a member of Council may need to leave the meeting early. The budget presentation will take place first.

Councilman Kearney reported that David L. Simons was named as Superintendent of the Regional Jail.
Councilman Tuck reported that he attended the Buckroe Improvement League meeting last night and had a conversation with an attendee about the large volume of history in the Buckroe area. She asked that the City consider taking a look at the history in Buckroe and perhaps consider the installation of signage.
