MAYOR'S COMMENTS
The Mayor welcomed two young guests: Malik Welton and Sam Anderson, both third grade students at Gloria Dei Lutheran School.

Mayor Kearney spoke about the communciations Council has recently received with respect to potential development of the White Marsh / Grandview area. At Council's request, Director of Planning, Terry P. O'Neill, provided information and indicated that, while he cannot give a 100% guarantee that the property in question cannot be developed, numerous environmental, regulatory and access issues limit and/or eliminate the possibility of development. Additionally, Mr. O'Neill indicated that Hampton's land use plan designates the White Marsh area as open space and, as of lunch time today, there have been no official development proposals filed in connection with this property.
