Call to Order
  All members of Council were present when roll was called at 5 p.m. Mayor Ward indicated that the work session was moved from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. since the agenda was light.

ACTION: Presented by Mary Bunting, City Manager. Mayor Ward also shared information concerning Mark Warner's recent visit to Fort Monroe.

New Business
  Councilman Tuck asked the City Manager to update citizens on the recent flooding issues caused by the heavy rain in late August and also asked for clarification of the Ad Hoc Leadership Group's role with respect to the police department.
