Call to Order
  Mayor Wallace called the meeting to order at 1:02 p.m. Councilwomen Curtis and Snead were not present due to out of town commitments.
1.13-0409Briefing from Hampton First
ACTION: Presented by Dr. William R. Harvey, President of Hampton University. He recognized the Hampton First board members who were able to be present. Dr. Harvey was assisted in the presentation by Fred Merrill of Sasaki Associates.
2.13-0410Briefing on One to One Technology Initiative
ACTION: Presented by Dr. Patricia Leary, Executive Director of School Leadership - Elementary, and John Eagle, Director of Information Technology, Hampton City Schools. Jennifer Lockett, Instructional Technology Teacher Specialist, also presented information on this project. Also attending was Dr. Linda, Shifflette, Superintendent of Hampton City Schools along with School Board members Jennifer Phillips and Monica Smith. Ja'Rae Bolton, student liaison, was also in attendance.
