Presentation of Photograph - Nightingale
Presented by Meril Amdursky and Ken Krakaur of Sentara who presented a photograph of the Nightingale Air Ambulance in appreciation of the City's support.
Presentation to POMOCO Nissan honoring their sponsorship of the POMOCO Family Movie Series.
Presented by Vice Mayor George Wallace to Henry Ayer, President of POMOCO Nissan, and to Ray Jarvis, the Assistant Sales Manager. POMOCO Nissan was presented with a model of a Nissan Titan painted just as the original which is in use as an emergency rescue vehicle at Buckroe Beach.
Proclamation Proclaiming March 11 - 17, 2012, as Girl Scout Week in the City of Hampton, Virginia.
Presented by Councilman Chris Stuart who read the proclamation. The Girl Scouts were represented by Kelly Welsh, Community Relations Manager, and Girl Scout Cadette Troop 1289 Leader, Mei Stukes. Girl Scouts who were present were Brooke Milligan, Kayla Milligan, Ashleigh Stukes, Gabriella Stukes, Cheri Witter, and Daisy Girl Scout Shelby Stuart.
Edwin M. Boone said that out of 147,000 people, he is the only one to speak and he encouraged other citizens to get involved.
